Aligning Career support through dynamic Place Based Design
Peter convened Civil Service recruitment leaders from across the City Region to align support for schools, as part of the Place Based Design work.
The purpose of the work, that began in January 204, is to align Public Sector outreach teams with our Careers Hub who work directly with primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges across Liverpool City Region to ensure that every young person receives outstanding, relevant careers education.
Working with the Careers Hub and Public Sector outreach teams Peter facilitated the group and together we:
1. Established a shared purpose - Inspiring and equipping our community to fulfil their potential.
2. Identified those we need to engage with to make it happen using the criteria of interest and influence,
3. Agreed design principles of
Customer –how they will benefit
Cost – an efficient use of our resources,
Consistency – sharing different approaches to improve standards,
Clarity – collaboration to enhance accountabilities and decision making,
Compliance – understanding governance and regulatory issues,
Culture- relationship based collaboration, sharing successes.
Work is ongoing ........
